Art and Music

We really enjoy the idea of bringing together things we love, and for us that's plants, art and music. Using Breathe Easy as a platform we like to bring the arts community and the environment together. Whether it's collaborating with artists to draw people to plantings days, to create shirt designs to help raise funds or it's the musicians providing the perfect backing track for some planting; we would like to thank the amazing collective of artists and musicians that have so generously given us their time and effort. And we can't wait to work with many more.

Emme Molony

Emme Molony

2023 Winter planting festival

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Emme, the amount of time, energy and thought that Emme put into the collection of art work she put forward was extraordinary. At the start we asked for something that displays the texture and gloominess of the south coast and Emme was able to capture those perfectly.

Pamoja Project

DAVID AKIBA is the king of Kenya! A visionary, his art tells the story of the modern African.
His art for us captures our farm in Arusha, Masai country and the journey we took to get there.
Sitting above is the silhouette of the nearby Mount Kilimanjaro and in the baskets is all the fresh fruit available in the area.

The Creekline Project

This was our first time preparing a poster for a planting day and it absolutely paid off. Luke Player is a wizard when it comes to creating posters and graphics whether it's for gigs or tea towels his style resonated strongly with us and the look of Breathe Easy . It's pretty cool to see the poster every now and then and be reminded of that unreal day for B.E, so thank you Luke! Learn more of Lukes work here - https://lukeplayer.com.au

Hari Koutlakis

2022 Middleton Dunes Planting day

Hari is an extremely talented and well established artist here in SA we were lucky enough to have Hari jump on board to do a shirt design for our 2022 Chapman rd Middleton dunes planting day. A key focus for this planting day was the planting of Spinifex sericeus (coastal spinifex) to provide habitat for the vulnerable Hooded Plover, Hari was able to incorporate this into his design with the main feature being the seed head of the Spinifex. Once again thank you Hari for your generosity. sus his work here -www.harihari.org
